Jan Wurm

Jan Wurm is Professor of Regenerative Design and Biofabrication in Architecture, in the Department of Architecture at KU Leuven, Belgium, where he established the BioDigital ConstructionLab. He also leads the EU Engagement related to Buildings and Construction for Arup, Brussels. Based on his background as a carpenter, a researcher and lecturer at RWTH Aachen and a Director at Arup in Europe, Wurm is passionate about bridging the gap between academic research and practice in the field of regenerative design. Wurm is a member of Experimental Foundation’s Fellowship jury.
