Architecture Matters 2026
Workshop, Munich, 16 April 2026
‘Phase Zero — Regenerative Future Practices’, hosted by Architecture Matters, brings together practitioners exploring regenerative, circular, bio-based, and low-tech approaches. Works+Words 2026 Biennale
Exhibition, Aarhus, 17 March 2026
Experimental Fellows Anna Pomazanna and Mykhailo Shevchenko of Materia Lab present Grunt at the Works+Words 2026 Biennale for Artistic Research in Architecture. Grunt explores regenerative material practices in response to environmental, political, and urban uncertainty in Ukraine, continuing from its first phase with Bauhaus Earth.

ARCH+ Salon on Situated Regionalism

The Experimental Fellowship project Situated Regionalism explores how material research and architectural practice respond to the ecological and social legacies of industrialization, colonial infrastructures, war-related contamination, and climate change in Vietnam. At this ARCH+ Salon, the Experimental Fellows discuss their ongoing research between Vietnam and Berlin.

On Earth Construction
Exhibition, Berlin, 25 July 2025
On Earth Construction is the final exhibition of the 2025 Experimental Fellowship with Bauhaus Earth. Grunt by Anna Pomazanna & Mykhailo Shevchenko (Materia Lab) and Earth, Lightly by Maria Lisogorskaya & Kaye Song (Assemble) explore the potential of earth as a construction material. The exhibition concludes the Fellowship’s first cycle: six international Fellows over three years.
