Regine Leibinger is the founder and Managing Director of Experimental Foundation. She established the foundation in 2022 to create an open framework for experimental thinking and collaboration in architecture, supporting projects that explore new territories and expand the possibilities of climate-conscious building.

Alongside her work with the foundation, she is a founding partner of the architecture practice Barkow Leibinger, which she has led since 1993. Barkow Leibinger’s work ranges from master planning to urban high-rises, office and industrial buildings, residential buildings, installations, and prototypical exhibition pavilions. Regine Leibinger also teaches internationally, most recently at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and is a leading figure in cultural institutions and advisory bodies.
