The Sitterwerk Foundation is a non-profit center for art and material-related research located in the Sitter Valley in St. Gallen. Established in 2006, the foundation comprises a library with over 30,000 art books and a material archive with roughly 2,600 samples. A diverse program of exhibitions, discussions and artistic residencies is nourished via a close exchange with artists, architects and researchers in addition to the expertise found in the adjacent art foundry of St. Gallen.
