toMOORow is the initiative of the Umweltstiftung Michael Otto and the Michael Succow Stiftung, partner in the Greifswald Mire Centre. The goal of the initiative is to protect and restore wet peatlands, which play a key role in climate protection, by cultivating paludi-biomass on rewetted peatlands, establishing new value chains. In close alliance with farmers and economic players, paludi-biomass is currently tested in different sectors to serve as an innovative raw material.
